1. What is the advantage of a "Remote" (Split) system compared to a plug-in unit?
The remote system places the compressor unit outside your building. This significantly reduces indoor noise and heat exhaust, providing a more comfortable shopping environment for your customers. It also allows for larger storage capacity within the cabinet itself since the cooling machinery is not taking up internal space.
2. How does the "Open-Top" design maintain the required temperature?
Our cabinets utilize a high-efficiency air curtain technology. A precision-engineered flow of cold air creates an invisible barrier across the top, keeping the internal temperature stable between -1°C to 7°C. This ensures the meat stays fresh and prevents bacterial growth while allowing customers easy “grab-and-go” access.
3. What are the installation requirements for these units?
Since these are split systems, they require professional installation. This includes:
Connecting refrigerant piping between the cabinet and the external condensing unit.
Proper drainage for condensation water.
Electrical wiring for both the indoor display unit and the outdoor compressor.
We recommend a certified HVAC technician handle the setup to ensure optimal performance.
4. How often should the cabinet be cleaned and maintained?
To ensure food safety and cooling efficiency:
Daily: Wipe down the stainless steel interior and surfaces.
Weekly: Check and clear the drainage holes to prevent water buildup.
Monthly/Quarterly: The outdoor condenser coils should be cleaned of dust and debris, and the air curtain vents should be checked for obstructions.
5. Can I customize the length of the display by joining multiple units?
Yes. As shown in our specifications (ranging from 1250mm to 3750mm), these units are designed to be modular. You can place multiple cabinets side-by-side to create a continuous “meat line.” Note that each 40mm end panel is only required at the very ends of your total configuration to maximize the seamless display area.
